Rise to build Lesotho’s first enterprise hub

Concerned at the high youth unemployment rate in Lesotho, the Relationships Inspiring Social Enterprise (rise) is raising funds to build an enterprise hub that can propel over 100 young entrepreneurs per year towards a brighter future.

Rise is looking for 50 forward-thinking architects who will donate a small amount of time to virtually mentor a young entrepreneur in Lesotho for six months. They also need 50 suppliers who will sponsor the architects for just M33 000, to help raise funds.

“This is an incredible opportunity to meet one-on-one with key decision makers, grow business opportunities, do well, and get a tax break.

“Under the rise Fellowship Program, the Enterprise Hub will be designed and built by local talent, and it will offer office space, workshops, a market place, a tool loan library practical support with business training, mentoring and other business support services. To make this happen, rise needs to raise $1,600 000 by December 2020,” the organisation said.
