FL builds house for pensioner

By Neo Kolane

‘Malikonelo Lekhoro of Thaba Chitja in Mafeteng filled with joy after she was given the keys to her new two-roomed house on Friday.

This house was built by members of the Lesotho Defence Force after the prime minister informed the LDF the First Lady, ‘Masekoala Majoro intended to build a house for the elderly woman.

The First Lady described the gesture as an act of kindness made possible by people of goodwill.

She recalled that the UN’s World Health Organisation had made a call for every human to have access to decent housing, and that Lesotho had signed a treaty that every Mosotho should have a house despite their social status.

She further pleaded with every Mosotho to donate in any way they could towards the upliftment of the vulnerable.
