Districts to receive services in Maseru

By Neo Kolane

The ministry of transport informs all residents of Mafeteng and Mohale’s Hoek, Qacha’s Nek and Quthing that the issuing of number plates in Mohale’s Hoek is still ongoing.

The ministry is planning to assist the above mentioned districts to be able to find the services in the Maseru district.

The plan includes new registration as well as handing over of new number plates; to that effect, motorists are advised to bring along all the required documentation.

The handing over of the new numberplates will start on October 26 to 31 2021 from 9am until the hours of 4pm at the offices of Sign World at Seputana.

A statement issued on August 30 by the ministry of transport had stated that people would be given two months to return the coat of arms-bearing number plates, from September to October.

“Those who will return them after the given period, will have to pay to get new ones. The issuance of new number plates will be done even on weekends and holidays, from 9am to 2pm, to avoid overcrowding,” the statement read.
