SLB warms hearts at Semonkong Children’s Centre

Standard Lesotho Bank (SLB) delivered the first batch of its Winter Drive donations to the Semonkong Children’s Centre on Friday, providing blankets, clothing, and toiletries to help keep children warm during the harsh winter months.

The initiative is part of SLB’s annual Winter Drive Campaign, which has been allocated M100,000 this year to support vulnerable communities. The bank is also calling on the public to contribute gently used clothing, blankets, shoes, and non-perishable food items at any SLB branch nationwide.

Speaking at the event, SLB Brand and Marketing Manager for Communications and Sponsorships, Manyathela Kheleli, emphasised the campaign’s spirit of compassion:

“This isn’t just about giving things away. It’s about showing real care by taking action. We identify communities most in need and ensure donations reach them directly. At Standard Lesotho Bank, we believe true care means doing something that makes a real difference,” he said.
