Lerotholi hosts Samsung innovation programme graduation

Samsung Electronics and Lerotholi Polytechnic (LP) today celebrated a milestone in youth employment initiatives with a certificate award ceremony for 41 students from the third cohort of the Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) Programme in Lesotho.

The students successfully completed courses in coding and programming, as well as Artificial Intelligence, marking a significant boost to the country’s technology sector.

The programme aims to enhance students’ employability prospects upon graduation, equipping them with the expertise needed to thrive in the tech industry.

In his address at the ceremony, Lerotholi Polytechnic Rector, Spiriti Tlali, said the gathering is not  just celebrating graduation, but rather the innovation, resilience, and potential of the youth to drive digital transformation in Lesotho and globally.
