Skills centre to be built at Ha Sekantši

Ha Sekantši village will on Saturday make history when it witnesses the sod turning marking the construction of a skills training centre, an event that will be graced by the presence of the Principal Chief of Matsieng Morena Seeiso Bereng Seeiso.

Ha Sekantši village was established around 1925. It is located in the ‘Maletsunyane constituency and Makhoalipana Community Council in the Maseru district. The village has a population of less than 300 people.

A statement from Possible Dreams Foundation says the event will also be celebrated with Lesotho Jeep Legends, who will be driving to Ha Sekantši village as part of their fundraising towards the purchase of the construction material for the Learning Centre.

Lesotho Jeep Legends will also make history by being the first team to reach the village by four wheel drives vehicles since the village was established in the early 1920’s.
