A prayer for all the good things

By Mohau Khupa

Let us pray. I’m like a tree growing by the rivers of the holy water, whose leaves do not wither, and I prosper. Food is energy, I pray for better reception. Peace, love and more light. I pray for more rain – ts’oene-tona rota.

I pray for more love and prosperity, Great God Almighty we want more. Truly grateful for the light, with each breath. I fear no evil, I am the holy spirit. Truly grateful for my situation right now, I’m learning a valuable lesson from it.

I pray that I find more pleasure in the things I choose to do – I have a plan, I pray that it works out – khanya.

I like to understand more about the great universe of God Almighty, I pray for the best-quality assimilation of Astronomy and Physics. I pray for wisdom and rich life; to be the big man with a big heart. Ha ho ‘ne ho khanye.

I like to love myself more, and to train myself to remember more about my days of yore; I pray for more knowledge of self.

I pray that I do better than yesterday and never forget how I did it better – I pray that I cherish these lessons more. Leseli le keo, ebile ke lena. I pray that we live long – hoa khanya.

I pray that love keeps me grounded. I pray that I’m reminded that I’m not just the ‘drop of the ocean’, I am the ocean.

I pray for good health and good food; I pray that I’m empowered to grow my own food. I pray that each day reaffirms that I am not just the light, I am the source. I pray that I’m not misunderstood.

I pray that the next version of prayer according to two sources inspires some good feelings.

‘Oho molimo re utloe rea rapela, molimo o mocha rapela oa khale. U re rapelle ho o moholo Jere, mojari oa lits’ito tsa batho. Hlabang tse ts’oeu le fepe balimo, le tle le bona ha balimo ba thabo.

Molimo oa leseli, oa Rammoloki, liatla li ts’oeu tsa Rammoloki. Li soeufetse ke ho bopa masea, masea a manyenyane libolokothoane. Molimo oa leseli, oa Rammoloki, molimo o liatla li maroba, liatla li robakiloe ke ho re bopa. Mopheha-khang le molimo ke mang?

Tlatlamacholo Rammoloki, hlahla metsi o a etse keleli. Keleling ke moo u nchafatsang lichaba tsa hau teng; lichaba tse tsoang ho uena ‘mopong, ‘me li tlang ho boela ho uena meahong’.
