Koetseng, the answer for all events

By Neo Kolane

A new bar that sells a varying brands of alcoholic drinks is now in place.

The Koetseng Bar is a mobile bar established by Libe Mohale and Furaha Mdee who have come together to run the small business.

Koetseng is a bespoke and Avant-Garde mobile bar, providing select and personalised bar setups for individuals, corporates and private events to deliver a seamless experience of work, leisure and play.

It is mainly about bar and cocktails service. Its goal is to promote locally manufactured alcoholic products.

When it comes to catering, decor, and furniture, it has built relationships with some of the best professional companies in the country.

The mobile bar went live on February 14 2022, by making its way to corporate spaces as a way of introducing the bar to the potential customers. That day the duo supplied drinks to the event marking sisterhood.

Koetseng aims to endorse self-indulgence as a tactic to rejuvenate Basotho’s productive capacity. Besides, all work and no play will make customers blue and lame! It endeavours to curate customised, deluxe, and refreshing encounters.

One of its founders Mohale told theReporter that they were aware that there was a demand for supply of alcoholic drinks to the events, hence the formation of the mobile bar.

“As Koetseng, we strive for exceptional and distinct services that incorporate panache and splendour. Our goal is to maximise value for money while providing a unique, exciting experience to patrons.

Mohale said their small mobile bar is striving to appease its customers with an excellent service.

Koetseng’s passionate team of qualified mixologists, bartenders and wait staff aspire to administer eccentric experiences that will have customers wanting more of the supply.

On his part Mdee said Koetseng is also looking at community development from a different standpoint of trying to familiarize the In-trend style of service and create jobs.

“Our acquired taste for beverages led us to come together to introduce quality cocktails and in the mix, throw in a skilled mixologist to ramp up the bar service, altogether with the thought of introducing a never-seen-before bar experience,” Mdee said.

Koetseng Mobile Bar hosted a few pop-ups as part of Valentine’s Day campaign where it celebrated women in corporate spaces. It visited Standard Lesotho Bank, Maseru Toyota, theReporter, and Minet.

The primary reason for choosing these companies was to introduce the Koetseng experience while initiating dialogues for building sound relationships in different industries in Lesotho.
