The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on Friday launched the national human development report.
The launch offered various stakeholders an opportunity to discuss the 2023/24 key messages and recommendations in relation to Lesotho’s human development trends.
In a statement, the UNDP said the report aims to generate debate on important development issues and alert leaders to any threats and appropriate measures to be taken to address them.
“It also shows progress made by countries to address existing disparities according to human development indicators, human development index and its components, gender development index, gender inequality index and multidimensional poverty index,” it noted.
