Music festival to commemorate bicentennial

The Basotho Mega Music Festival will hold a show on October 19 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Basotho nation.
This landmark event will take place at Setsoto Stadium, showcasing the rich tapestry of Basotho arts and culture through a vibrant musical spectacle.
Building upon the vision of the ministry of tourism, sports arts and culture’s call for ideas, a consortium of 11 event management teams have joined forces to conceptualise the festival.
The show will feature local arts and cultural performers alongside some renowned international acts.
This collaborative effort promises an unforgettable experience, honouring Lesotho’s heritage while igniting the spirit of national pride.
