Wool and mohair roadshow to promote opportunities

The Wool and Mohair Roadshow is set to visit five districts in the country this month to promote local skills, entrepreneurship and value addition.

The roadshow starts in Berea on September 11, followed by Leribe on September 14, Thaba-Tseka(September 18), Mohale’s Hoek (September 21), and Maseru three days later.

The events will feature live spinning and weaving, performances by local artists, and discussions with Basotho designers building brands from wool and mohair.

The roadshow will also offer information on training and work opportunities for people interested in developing businesses in the sector.

The programme is funded by the Government and the International Fund for AgriculturalDevelopment.
