Tṧenolo FM presenter Leqhashasha shot dead

By Neo Kolane

Tṧenolo FM presenter Ralikonelo Joki has died.

Joki, popularly known as Leqhashasha, was fatally shot last night by unknown gun men at the gate of the radio station at Lower Thamae in Maseru.

Tṧenolo FM founder and managing director, Mohau Kobile told theReporter today that the gunmen waylaid Leqhashasha at around 9:15pm after his radio slot.

Kobile described the late presenter as a person who was knowledgeable about topical issues and worked hard to promote and protect the rights of the poor by giving them a voice.

“I don’t think we’ll ever find a radio presenter who was as brave as Leqhashasha or who will meet his high standards,” he said.

The late presenter joined Tṧenolo FM at the beginning of 2021

Kobile said police were investigating his death.
