The Ministry of Environment and Forestry will hold a series of stakeholder validation workshops next week to address waste management challenges in Lesotho.
The workshops aim to validate findings and strengthen stakeholder collaboration on waste characterisation, informal waste sector integration and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).
They will bring together various stakeholders to support sustainable waste management initiatives and raise public awareness of the importance of effective waste management practices.
The engagements will be held in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme, the United Nations Development Programme and other partners.
