The two South African National Defence Force members and two immigration officers who were detained for entering Lesotho illegally, are out on bail.
The Maseru Magistrates Court, on Tuesday, released the quartet on bail of M1000 each.
While reports suggest cabinet may have influenced their release, the two Lesotho Defence Force members who were held for illegally crossing into South Africa remain incarcerated in the border town of Matatiele. The pair are said to have been attempting to retrieve Basotho livestock from South African cattle rustlers.
