MMB to distribute PPEs to liquor outlets

Maluti Mountain Brewery (MMB) has welcomed the Prime Minister’s announcement to move the country to the purple level of the national restrictions and officially re-open the sale of alcohol beverages.

In keeping with its commitment to working with government to prevent the spread of Covid-19, MMB will be supporting 1200 registered liquor outlets with PPE including Face shields, face masks, sanitizers, gloves, floor stickers, and Covid-19 educational posters. The handing over ceremony will be held at Maseru Mall on Wednesday.

MMB’s country corporate affairs manager, ‘Mathabang Fanyane, said: “We believe that opening up the economy and moving the country to the purple level is an important move for our economy. Lifting of the prohibition on the sale of alcohol has come as a welcome relief for our business and industry, and the thousands of livelihoods who depend on us.”
