Stunna set for Dubai gig

Renowned hip-hop musician Thaabe Letsie, famously known as Ntate Stunna, is expected to grace the land of the Arabs on October 20 for the Expo2020Dubai.

The Sesotho fashioning trendsetter told theReporter that he will be displaying the Basotho culture and language to the world.

He said that he will be in Dubai for a week from October 20 until 28.

The expo undertakes the design, fabrication and delivery of country pavilions with respect to every country and its needs.

The theme for this year’s Expo 2021 Dubai is ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future. The sub-themes are Sustainability, Opportunity and Mobility.

Ntate Stunna is also known for a hit song ‘Ke Thata’ which has attracted a million viewers on YouTube. That. According to him, makes it unique.

He has launched his own brand of blanket which features a Mokorotlo hat, an accordion and a microphone. That makes him the first Mosotho musician to own a blanket line.

Born in Lesotho in 1996, Ntate Stunna grew up listening to hip-hop which he eventually cherished.

He is a popular household name in the Lesotho hip-hop scene. Some of his songs such as ‘I’m not the one, K’hotho, K’haya to Jozi and Koarantine Freestyle are hitting the charts.

His hard work has caught the attention of mainstream artists’ leading him to share the stage with heavyweights South African artists like DJ Tira, Major League DJs and Ricky Rick.
