By Seleoe Nonyane

Penya Play record label recently welcomed a new and fresh artist from the Free State province, South Africa.

Nthabeleng Emily Garing, known for her stage name Nthaby_Signs recently released her debut single titled Pela Pelo under the Penya Play record label.

The relationship between Garing and the record label came to light after she was invited to Penya Play Entertainment founder, Ntate Stunna’s music session through a producer who had recommended her to be the muso’s vocalist.

Garing and Ntate Stunna later met again in studio. They recorded a track which was unfortunately never released.

The 21-year old Botshabelo born star mentioned that she always had aspirations of becoming a musician. She recalled that she enjoyed singing from a tender age of six.

Due to being a new comer in the music industry, Garing told theReporter that she is unable to give out any advices at this stage as she is also trying to navigate her way into the industry.

The musician is also a student at the University of Johannesburg studying Bachelor of Civil Engineering.

The Pela Pelo star stated that she is originally from South Africa and her first time in Lesotho was during Pela Pelo music video shoot.

Garing further promised that there is more to come from her in the near future. She is set to release an Ep titled Pina Tsa bo-Phori.

“Penya Play is an international record label registered in both Lesotho and South Africa. I believe it’s the first record label to put out stars from Lesotho to the spotlight across Southern Africa, that is the hope.” She concluded.
