Econet offers more unlimited packages

By Matṧeliso Phulane

Mobile network company Econet Telecom Lesotho (ETL) has introduced more unlimited or unrestricted data packages for its customers to browse faster and experience videos and pictures of high quality.

This was the announced at press conference held at a local hotel today, by ETL’s general manager – marketing, communication and customer experience – ‘Mapusetso Ntṧekhe.

Ntṧekhe explained that in 2019 the company decided to improve its services by introducing new unlimited products, when they noticed how much people spent data to connect to the internet.

“Apart from that, the Covid-19 pandemic had forced people to work from home and therefore use the internet.

“Econet has switched to the unlimited fibre packages and fixed LTE unlimited packages which allows users to download and upload at high speed in order to make their life easier. This also connects more people without any disruptions, explores good quality videos and pictures for entertainment.

“Unlimited fibre packages increased from 15mbps to 30mbps download speed with only M649 per month, while fixed unlimited packages increased from 40mbps to 80mbps download speed and 20mbps to 40mbs upload speed at M899,” she said.
