High presence of the old at Khanyane

By Neo Kolane

Voting has started and is proceeding smoothly at the Khanyane LEC Primary School polling centre in the Hlotse #13
constituency.

So far there is a high turn-out of old people who, however, could not conceal their disillusionment.

Malefetsane Hoi told theReporter that he has decided to vote for the sake of voting.

He said he was voting for the sixth time in his life but has nothing to show for it except empty promises over the years.

Another voter Mothobi Tjellane who arrived at the voting station at 5:00am, said he was voting just to perform a civic duty and for the future of his children.
