Heads must roll over Frazer deal

So, it has finally happened.

A court in South Africa has ruled in favour of phoney solar energy company Frazer Solar GMBH and now Lesotho has to pay M1.7 billion to the company from hell.

We stand by our previous position that the company is criminal and deserves to be declared persona non grate all over the globe.

In what could at best be described as the biggest white collar crime of our time, Frazer Solar GmbH was allegedly awarded a M1.7 billion in damages by a South African court after the Lesotho government reportedly reneged on a contract, which was purportedly to be funded by the German government, as part of a wider programme to turn Lesotho into a net exporter of electricity.

In a similar vein, Frazer’s partners-in-crime deserve everything that’s coming their way. From the very beginning, every piece of information pointed to former minister in the Prime Minister’s Office Temeki Tṧolo, having put his signature in the transaction that has been equated to selling the country. Yet, the former Mafeteng MP vehemently denied any involvement in the deal.

All testimonies before the PAC implicated him as the mastermind behind the transaction. Yet he continued to deny any wrong doing. He was not ashamed to stoop so low as to feign amnesia. His mind had gone totally blank.

This raised one important question. Was this even a deal in the first place? For all we know, it could have been a ploy to defraud the government by accusing it of reneging on a non-existing deal. We strongly suspect the former minster is going to get a cut from Frazer when the country bleeds M1.7 billion.

Otherwise, how do you explain the fact that all court correspondence such as summonses were delivered to him, instead of the attorney general.

Interestingly, unconfirmed allegations have been gaining traction over the past four months, that some politicians in the RFP-led government have been working in cahoots with Frazer to throw the case away in favour of the rogue company, in exchange for financial rewards.

We are investigating, and we will name and shame if there is any substance to these claims.
