Selemela launches new brand

By Matṧeliso Phulane

Selemela Learning Network (SLN) yesterday launched a new brand identity.

The initiative, which is a collaboration between Selemela and Glasswaters Foundation, is dedicated to transforming education in Lesotho.

SLN is also committed to bridging the gap between education theory and practice through four divisions namely: Mochochonono Learning, (Engagement Division) Peo Tools and Skill-sharing Library (Sustainability Division) Mohloling Media Literacy Platform (Content Division) and Itekole Mentorship Platform (Outreach Division).

These divisions are further broken down into three sub-committees in order to maximise their outreach and operation.

There is also a prototype subcommittee for development of new products and services as well as payment for services subcommittee for distribution.

According to a statement by SLN, the launch is the organisation’s way of touching base with the stakeholders they have worked with in the past four years and building new networks.

The aim is to share updates on progress and experiences garnered from their collaboration with Glasswaters Foundation, as well as lessons learned through mistakes and challenges.

“The launch is an opportunity for SLN to introduce its paid services and ticketing system, in addition to e-commerce platform available on selemela.com,” the statement noted.

By unveiling a new brand identity and launching the website, Selemela seeks to reinvigorate its mission, engage its audience, and foster collaboration within the education community.
