RSL takes media on state warehouse tour

By Matšeliso Phulane

Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL) on Friday took various media houses on a tour of its storage warehouse.

The tour gave the media an opportunity to learn about RSL’s comprehensive storage processes and procedures followed to manage and store goods.

RSL public relations manager, Ts’epang Mncina said they have lined up a number of media tours, and this was the first.

“What we aim to achieve is to inform Basotho about how to pay their taxes, as well as for them to know how their goods end up being kept in the warehouse,” Mcina noted.

Getting into details about the state warehouse, RSL customs inspector Ivy Mohlakala said among others, goods whose owners did not have import permits due to lack of knowledge are taken to the warehouse, for instance alcohol.
