NUL holds 49th convocation

King Letsie III will officiate at the National University of Lesotho’s (NUL) 49th graduation ceremony on Tuesday next week.

According to a statement from NUL, the ceremony will run from October 8-10, at the Roma campus and the Institute of Extra Mural Studies (IEMS) Maseru campus.

The first day will be dedicated to the official opening of the convocation by the NUL chancellor, followed by official speeches. The ceremony will begin with the faculty of law and faculty of education while other faculties and IEMs will follow on the subsequent days as scheduled.

“It is the third year that the university holds a staggered ceremony. The aim is to give graduates a chance to enjoy the ceremony in smaller manageable groups rather than a large group, as has been the case in the past,” the statement said.
