The policy is a vision for a future where every child in Lesotho has access to quality education enriched by technology.
Speaking during the launch on Friday, Rapapa said the policy marks a significant milestone in the ministry’s efforts to transform education in the country, particularly through the integration of technology, and in alignment with the Learning Passport Initiative.
He also revealed that by 2034, his ministry envisions that all learners will compete the basic education system equipped with the essential competencies to effectively use ICT as a tool for lifelong learning.
“Technology is not just a facilitator, it is a catalyst for change. It opens doors to new learning opportunities, fosters creativity, and prepares our students to thrive in a competitive global environment,” Rapapa noted.
