The much-anticipated Corporate Challenge returns for its 10th edition on October 3, 2025, marking a decade of team-building, wellness, and camaraderie among Lesotho’s corporate sector.
Hosted by Liopelo Events, the milestone event promises an action-packed day at Maseru Mall, blending physical endurance with professional networking.
What began as a modest obstacle race has grown into a flagship corporate event, attracting hundreds of participants annually.
Mamphono Khaketla, Events Director at Liopelo Events, said the Challenge has become “more than just an obstacle course.”
She described it as a powerful morale booster and networking opportunity that continues to bring together professionals, colleagues, and friends from all sectors.
This year’s event will feature a rigorous 25-obstacle course, including crowd favourites like the mud crawl, tyre run, and monkey bars. Teams of five – either all-male, all-female, or mixed – are encouraged to register. The fee is M3,400 per team, and Khaketla revealed that one company fielded 11 teams in 2024.
She said they are aiming to beat that record this year, and went on to encourage individuals to form teams with friends, family, or even neighbours.
To commemorate the 10th anniversary, a VIP Marquee will be introduced, offering CEOs of sponsor companies and special guests a premium space to relax and network.
“It’s not just about competition – it’s about celebrating a shared commitment to wellness and unity,” Khaketla noted.
The day will begin with registration at 8am, and the first wave of teams is set to start at 10am. Companies can select their preferred start times for better coordination.
The prize-giving ceremony is expected around 3pm, following the final team’s finish.
Food and beverage vendors at Maseru Mall will offer exclusive packages for the day, and organisers are exploring the possibility of an after-party on site, tapping into demand from previous participants.
“It’s the perfect lead-up to Independence weekend, and we’re working to make it even more festive,” added Khaketla.
Sponsorship packages remain open, offering companies a chance to register teams, sponsor prizes, or choose from curated sponsorship options.
