Adv Phoofolo accorded state funeral

The government has accorded the late Advocate Haae Phoofolo an official state funeral on Friday this week. He will be laid to rest in Maseru.

The former Minister of Law and Justice, Attorney General, and Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Lesotho passed away on August 20, 2025 after a long illness.

“The nation is advised to note that flags will fly at half-mast for three days from Wednesday 3, (today) to 5 September in honour of the late Advocate Haae Phoofolo,” Government Secretary, Teboho ‘Mokela,said in a press release.
