PM hails Sebabatso initiative progress

Prime Minister Sam Matekane says the Sebabatso initiative has become a beacon of hope, innovation, entrepreneurship and empowerment for young Basotho.

The platform seeks to expose youth entrepreneurs and innovators to potential investment that will boost the growth of their businesses.

Officially opening the 2025 Sebabatso Conference in Maseru on Monday, Matekane said the project has made remarkable progress since it was established three years ago. The meeting runs until Friday this week.

“Through this initiative I have seen hope, transformation, and belief in the boundless potential of our youth.

“Sebabatso has grown from an idea into a nationalplatform that nurtures talent, fosters entrepreneurship, and connects our youth to continental networks,” he noted.
