His Majesty King Letsie III has appointed a tribunal to investigate the suspension of Justice ‘Maseforo Mahase.
Justice Mahase was suspended on November 4, 2025.
The tribunal will examine the matter and submit its findings and recommendations to the King. It is composed of Justice Mankhambira as the chairperson, and Justice Sylvester Salufi Mainga and Justice David Mangata as members.
The tribunal is expected to complete its work within eight weeks from the date of commencement and submit its report to the King, stating whether or not Justice Mahase ought to be removed from office.
