Lesotho to host 13th edition of Brand Africa

By Neo Kolane

The 2023 Lesotho edition of the 13th Brand Africa 100 of Africa’s Best Brands will be held this coming Wednesday August 30, 2023.

The prestigious event presents the most comprehensive ranking of the most admired brands across the African continent.

Established in 2011, the Brand Africa 100: Africa’s Best Brands rankings are the most authoritative survey and analysis on brands and underlying businesses in Africa, based on a study by Geopoll across 28 countries spanning all the five economic regions and analysis and rankings by Kantar and Brand Leadership.

The founder and chairman of Brand Africa Thebe Ikalafeng says one cannot sum up a continent the size of Africa in three words, but vibrancy, entrepreneurship and resilience help characterise and connect this group of dynamic countries.

According to Geopoll, the survey and rankings provide the most comprehensive reflection of brand perception and affinity among the diverse African consumer base. The extensive research conducted between February and April 2023 meticulously analyzed and evaluated brands from all economic regions within Africa.

Geopoll is a pioneer in providing remote, mobile-based research solutions throughout Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

Previously, local clothing brand Bonono Merchants walked away with two awards; Most Admired Lesotho Brand and Most Admired Lesotho Apparel at the 12th annual Brand Africa 100’s: the Lesotho Edition.
