The United States Embassy in Maseru will tomorrow launch a M54 million project aimed at improving occupational safety and health, and combating gender-based violence.
The project dubbed, “Supporting Safe and Inclusive Work Environments in Lesotho,” also seeks to fight harassment and discrimination in Lesotho’s informal economy, public service, and hazardous sectors.
The U.S Department of Labour funded project will be implemented by the International Labour Organisation, a statement by the United States Embassy in Maseru said today.
