The Member of Parliament for Matala, Dr Tseliso Moroke, over the weekend launched a two-day soccer tournament aimed at uniting local teams and fostering community engagement.
The event, held at the Matala Citizen Football Club Grounds, is part of a larger initiative to promote socio-economic growth within the constituency.
“Together, through sports, we aim to enhance our community and create sustainable environments,” Dr Moroke said.
He noted that the tournament not only highlights the importance of sports, but also aligns with ongoing initiatives such as poultry production and tree planting in the area.
