Mukuru customers win big

Four lucky customers recently won groceries worth about M40,000 in the Mukuru Trolly Dash Campaign.

The initiative by the fintech giant was aimed at rewarding existing loyal customers and attracting new ones.

The winners were drawn from clients that sent money to their loved ones outside Lesotho for three consecutive months, starting from September, 2024.

Mukuru Bureau De Change Agent Land Co-ordinator, Thakane Malataliana, said: “The Mukuru Trolly Dash Campaign is our humble way of thanking our customers for being there with us. Simply, we’re giving back to the community as part of our corporate social responsibility programme.”

The winners were given two minutes each to grab groceries of their choice from Pick ‘n Pay Supermarket at Pioneer Mall in Maseru.

Mukuru also rewarded four of its agents who signed the winning customers up. These were given 90 seconds to take part in the Trolley Dash Campaign.

As a build up to the final event, the company gave away monthly grocery vouchers of M500 each to 12 lucky customers. This segment ran for four months, Malataliana noted.

One of the final winners, Hildah Maminimini, said she was excited to be given a chance to participate in the the campaign.

“I am excited and thankful for the wonderful opportunity to participate in the campaign. It was an amazing experience to pick up groceries of my choice. I’m deeply appreciative of this generous gesture,” she told theReporter in an interview.

“I would like to thank Mukuru for their convenient and reliable service, and for making a positive impact on our lives,” a delighted Maminimini added.
