Petroleum Fund announces new fuel price hikes

The Petroleum Fund Secretariat has announced a price adjustment for all petroleum products, starting from tomorrow.

The prices of Petrol93 and Petrol95 will increase by M0.45 and M0.25 per litre respectively, while Diesel50 will cost M0.20 more.

In a statement this week, the Fund also noted that the price of Illuminating Paraffin will decrease by M0.10 per litre.

The new retail prices will be: M18.90 for Petrol93, Petrol95 (M19.20), Diesel50 (M19.95), and Illuminating Paraffin M14.00.

The Fund further urged retailers to adhere to these prices and has set up a toll-free number, 800 220 04, for the public to report any non-compliance.
