JSC calls for objections to High Court nominees

The Lesotho Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has issued a public call for written objections to nominees and applicants seeking appointment as High Court Judges.
The JSC is inviting objections before February 28 in order to consider them before making its final recommendations to the King.
The nominees for the High Court Judge positions include Ts’eliso Molise, Phatela Thomas Thakalekoala, Tlotliso Angelina Polaki, and Ricardo O’Neal Sandcroft. Meanwhile, the applicants for the positions are Rants’o Thulo, ‘Mathato Pelaelo Sekoai, Molemo Monethi, and Monyake Hlabanyane.
These nominees and applicants will be considered for five vacant High Court judge positions, which need to be filled to maintain the court’s capacity to effectively administer justice in Lesotho.
