Police are organising a prayer walk in the MpharaneConstituency on Saturday this week in response to the recent surge in crime in the area.
This initiative follows a community outreach event held recently, during which Lesotho Mounted Police Service officers engaged directly with residents to address growing safety concerns.
In an interview with theReporter, NkopaneMathibeli, a local village councillor, praised the police’s efforts to educate the public about the expected rise in crime during the Easter holidays.
Mathibeli underscored the importance of community vigilance and urged residents to refrain from engaging in unlawful behaviour.
