Ministers visit Katse Dam

As part of the second leg of their Lesotho Highlands Water Project (LHWP ll) sites visit, Minister of Natural Resources, Mohlomi Moleko, and South African Minister of Water and Sanitation, Pamela Majodina, today toured Katse Lodge, Botanical Garden, Campsite and Caravan Park and Katse Dam.

The visited, organised by the Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA), underscores the continued commitment and cooperation between the two countries in advancing regional water security and infrastructure development.

LHWP is multi-billion Maloti/Rand bi-national Project between the Governments of the Kingdom of Lesotho and the Republic of South Africa. It comprises water transfer and hydropower generation and ancillary developments.
