Newly-appointed Minister of Local Government and Chieftainship, Nkhethoa Seetsa, and Minister of Home Affairs and Police, Voeswa Tsheka, yesterday engaged government officials under their portfoliosfor the first time.
Speaking at Police Training College (PTC),Nkhethoa urged the officials to work hard to achieve that they were appointed for.
He said concerted efforts would go a long way in ensuring that citizens abide by the country’s laws.
“We have to work hard to assure the Prime Minister that he did not make a mistake by separating thesetwo ministries,” Nkhethoa added.
On her part, Tsheka encouraged her staff to focus on their tasks and deliver on the ministry’s mandate.
She further urged the public to use the Police Complaints Office to raise their concerns against members of the police.
