Duo’s big plans for entertainment industry

By Neo Kolane

Loot Entertainment, a platform set up in April this year to manage and help grow local artists, is currently working on producing an exclusive “AmaPiano” EP later this year.

The project is named Genesis because it will be the first full extended play record of “AmaPiano” project to come out from The Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho.

Twenty-year old Sello Makutle is the co-founder of the platform along with his close buddy Mosenki Nqhae, and the pair have to date managed to sign five local music artists.

“We have in our stable of artists, a producer who currently is working with local hit maker Juvy and South African hit maker Kid X and many other big projects around the country.

“As music is not the only form of entertainment, we are planning on expanding into other streams of art such as photography and modelling.  We believe the standard of Lesotho’s entertainment industry is still too low, so our mission is to make the industry a profitable one by working together with every talented local artist.

“It is time we made profit out of Lesotho’s entertainment to make sure that the world recognises our talent the same way they do the likes of Ntate Stunna and Malome Vector.”

The duo promises “AmaPiano” lovers that the hit will be nothing but the best.
