GoL reshuffles ministers

The government of Lesotho announced the reshuffling of some of the government ministers and some of the deputy ministers from their ministries, effective from June 4.

The ministers who will be shifting from their offices from today are as follows:

Lekhetho Rakuoane from the ministry of tourism, environment and culture to the ministry of justice and law, Tšoinyana Rapapa from local government and chieftainship to communication, science and technology, Motlohi Maliehe from public service to forestry, range and soil conservation.

Keketso Sello will replace Motlohi Maliehe in the ministry of public service while Ntlhoi Motsamai leaves the education and training ministry to replace Lekhetho Rakuoane.

The list of reshuffled deputy ministers stands as follows:

Tumahole Lerafa will join Lekhetho Rakuoane in the ministry of justice and law, Letsitsi Mokoma will be in the ministry of agriculture and food security while Mankoe Maime will assist in the water ministry, and ‘Maletsema Letsoepa-Lenkoane will assist in the ministry of education and training.

Some of the ministers and deputy ministers who were allocated the new offices are Lepota Sekola from the ministry of water to the ministry of Police and public safety, Halebonoe Setšabi who will be in the ministry of defence and national security, Likopo Mahase to take the agriculture and food security ministry.

Lehlohonolo Moramotse will now shift to the ministry of local government and chieftainship while ‘Mamookho Phiri will join in the ministry of education and training.
