By Neo Kolane

‘Manthabiseng Convention Centre will be packed to capacity on Sunday from 11:00am to 08:00pm when South African singers Blaq Diamond and Oscar Mbo perform at ‘Ha se Lerato ke Winter’.

Vibe Production Inc. in association with Lesotho National Broadcasting Service (LNBS) presents a black and white lifestyle daytime fiesta.

Blaq Diamond is a South African Afro pop duo from Ladysmith KwaZulu-Natal which has recently features American rappers 5o cents, Eminem T-Pain and Chris Brown on their song SummerYoMuthi.

In an interview with theReporter, co-director of the event, Mohale Lebina said the title came to mind “because of the idea that when it is cold, a male figure needs a female figure to get warm.”

The 50-year old added that in winter, relationships are not entirely based on love but just trying to keep warm hence the name of the vent, ‘Ha se Lerato ke Winter’.

Lebina added the lineup was decided on looking at the availability of the artists and DJ’s but he revealed only on Tuesday morning that they will be bringing Oscar Mbo to the event.

He added that the hype has increased.

Oscar Mbo is a famous South African podcaster, producer, and house DJ best known for his founding and starring roles in The Ashmed Hour show.

Lebina said that he is working together with Mekonko and Kopper.

He added that they have been sponsored by LNBS, MCT which is bringing two artists while Elibo guest house will be sponsoring with VVIP tents.

Lebina is also known for hosting Vetkuk vs Mahoota and LES Finest at Chila Nathi in Mohale’s Hoek for the 5 to 2021 event held on December 26, 20202 which was a success.

“Should it rain or snow, the event will shift to being indoors because we want to make the fun worth a while despite the weather condition.

“People should expect fireworks because it is a lifestyle event,” Lebina said.

The event will also feature disc jockeys like Afro DJ, Mekonko, Bootz, Kopper, Ebonics.

Juvy, Morena Sway, Mmateng, Tedoz, khebza and Mo-Tabz are also on the lineup.
