Tṧepang illuminates billboards

By Neo Kolane

Local model Tṧepang Teba is a major feature on Doxa N Kabod’s campaign that is currently running on billboards in Maseru.

Doxa N Kabod is a clothing brand that has been around since 2017. It imports clothes and re-sells them. It specialises in selling suits, formal shoes and accessories.

As part of the campaign, the billboards were unveiled last Sunday.

Tṧepang was chosen as one of the models in Lesotho to help uplift local modelling talent at the same time create awareness of the clothing brand to the public.

Speaking to theReporter, the compere said he received a call on February 20 after a meeting was held and he was later chosen and briefed about the campaign.

Tṧepang, a laboratory technologist who also doubles up as a compere, explained that the aim of the campaign is to create brand awareness and collaborate and uplift local modelling talent in Lesotho.

The Teyateyaneng-born and bred who started modelling in 2018 explained that the cry for models to be recognised by brands will soon come to an end.

“I feel it is ground breaking that brands are starting to recognise local model talent. This campaign is going to motivate upcoming models, and show them that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

“At first, models approached and proposed to brands but it is now vice versa as various brands now approach models to showcase their products,” he remarked.

Tṧepang has been working with the owner of a clothing brand. He is always dressed by them resulting in building good relationships.

He said he feels honoured and excited at the same time.

The founder of Doxa N Kabod Lefa Khanare said as means to put value to the business, reaching out to converse with their clients is on the cards, adding that it is a milestone achievement for the business.

The pictures seen on the billboards of Tṧepang are old pictures of him dressed in Doxa N Kabod.

The posters can be seen on street lights poles at Lakeside, Lekhaloaneng, and Pioneer Mall circle and at the Bank Tower in the city centre.
