Local gynaecologist, obstetrician and founder of SHE Clinic, Dr Lineo Mabusela Letlala, continues to empower women and girls to change their outlook and consider a career in reproductive health.
To this effect, Mabusela Letlala has made it her mission to ensure that women and girls have the right information about their bodies.
Addressing the 2020/2022 graduates at Montech Instituition last week Friday, she urged them to be prepared to go out there and use their newly acquired skills to serve Basotho whole-heartedly.
“Achievement comes through serving the people with your knowledge; as a result, you will enjoy your career.
“I want to speak more about servanthood, that there is no need to have achieved whatever you have if it does not serve or benefit other people,” Letlatsa expressed.
As only the second Mosotho woman to specialise in gynaecology and obstetrics, she noted the rate at which women die giving birth, hence she worked so hard to change that.
Letlatsa congratulated students as well as for listening to their parents’ advices to pursue their studies.
“People usually pay attention to how they look than how they feel about their journey and how it feels to the community, therefore I am grateful for the invitation,” she concluded.
