Over M1 Million worth of transactions through Lai Lai since Introduction

First National Bank Lesotho (FNBL) In its constant quest to deliver on the nationally important agenda of Financial Inclusion; FNB has taken some ground-breaking steps to bring banking services closer not only to our clients but to unbanked population at large today announced the new success of Lai Lai, since it was piloted in August 2018.

Over M1,000,000 worth of transactions have gone through the user friendly mobile banking service.

This solution is the first of its kind in Lesotho’s Banking Sector. Bochabela supermarket was the first agent to go live with the offering and the Khubetsoana population is enjoying the service.  Its customers have enclosed the convenience factor of not having the need to travel to town to receive funds even from South Africa.

From inception Lai Lai Cash Plus is designed to foster financial inclusion by bringing banking services and solutions to both business and individual customers; create efficiencies for the bank that will add value to existing and prospective FNBL customers.

We are looking forward to the growth of this great banking solution designed for Basotho.
