Sensual You skincare range launches

Dr Karabo Juliet Tlale, a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist atNetcare Waterfall City Hospital in Johannesburg, is trying something new: she is venturing into skincare in addition to her usual day-to-day medical work.

The digital launch of Sensual You, her lovely, new skincare range took place this week.

A 100 percent natural, mainly plant-based product, the Sensual You range is made up of a body cream, firming gel, body scrum and body butter. They include capsicum and active and collagen stimulating factors which are plant based. Other ingredients are avocado oil, mineral oil, seed oil and cupana seed extract among numerous other components.

Born and bred in Lesotho, Tlali said: “I launched my Sensual You skincare range, which I’ve worked hard to perfect, because I love to see my skin and body looking young.” Sensual You products have moisturizing and anti-aging products and maintain the elasticity of the skin. While mostly targeted at women, the range is also unisex.”

While Dr Tlale loves her job as a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist, she is excited to be venturing into the new realm of skincare products.

“I’ll never forget saving the lives of mothers and babies at almost impossible times. Each of the cases are special and bring out the upmost gratitude.”

Her experience and achievements in her chosen field of medicine extend far and wide. In addition to working at the Netcare Waterfall City Hospital, she has also worked at the Life Carstenhof Hospital and the Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital.

Keen to stay abreast of the latest developments in obstetrics and gynaecology, Karabo is a member of the South African Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (SASOG), the European Society of Hysteroscopy and Reproductive Endoscopy (ESHRE) and the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE). In 2007, Karabo received the ELISE BOES prize for excellent research work and presentation on symphysis fundal height measurement in predicting the birth weight of a newborn.

Always ready to pursue her passions, Karabo is also a founder of Planned Adulthood and the Confident Teen. Founded in 2018, the organisation prepares girls as they transition into the different stages of life, such as into the teenage years and then into young womanhood as they exit their teenage years.

Her track record of success and dynamism will no doubt see her succeeding in her new Sensual You skincare pursuit. Great for body and soul, with Sensual You, you have a lot to look forward to.
