Daikin opens brand shop in Lesotho

World’s leading air conditioning distributor company Daikin that has existed for 52 years in South Africa officially opened its store in Maseru yesterday.

Speaking at the official opening, the manager of Daikin South Africa Koen Van Wynendaele said that Daikin’s mission is to deliver the highest quality products in the market with the highest returns for its customers backed by the best customer service

Van Wynendaele explained that the new store opening, aims to bring high-level innovation and expertise closer to consumers.

“The company aims to build a cleaner environment in the African region by appointing new channel partners in Africa to strive for access to better air quality and energy efficiency, while simultaneously strengthening service and aftermarket support,” he said.

Speaking at the official opening, the guest of honour ‘Malerotholi Seeiso said that the opening of a new store in Lesotho means creating more jobs which are much needed in Lesotho.

Seeiso further said the company is bringing services to local people in Lesotho, explaining that border issues will not be a problem anymore as people will not have to travel to South Africa for services.

“This company will grow in heaps and hopes to match its counterpart in South Africa,” she said.
