Vodacom Lesotho launches another innovation

By Neo Kolane

Telecommunication giant, Vodacom Lesotho this week added a new addition to its products, the Vodacom One Connect, which is set to revolutionise communications for large enterprises, Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) and NGOs.

Vodacom One Connect is a cloud-based business communication tool that functions like a business phone and facilitates work from anywhere in the world.

Vodacom Business’s  commercial operations manager, Puseletso Putsoane explained that Vodacom One Connect empowers organisations to communicate more effectively, collaborate impeccably and ultimately drive productivity.

Putsoane said the product allows business owners the traditional office landline on their computers, mobile phone and/or desk phone.

“It is a collaborating platform that allows business owners to chat and set meetings and engage with their clients,” she noted.

The product’s key benefits include hosted cloudbased PaBx with a user-friendly portal and mobile Application that allows scheduling and hosting of virtual meetings, excellent voice quality and best call rates from anywhere in the world.

Putsoane further disclosed that the product’s scalability is suitable to businesses of all sizes, from small enterprises to large corporations.

The executive head of department at Vodacom Business, Lisemelo Ramafikeng, said they want to provide state-of-the-art technology for businesses to engage with their customers, both in and outside the country.

Ramafikeng urged SMMEs to take Vodacom Business  as their general practitioner when it comes to technology.

She said as Vodacom Business, they support businesses with technology so that they are able to reach their goals.

The chief executive officer of Vodacom Lesotho, Mohale Ralebitso, said Vodacom Lesotho wants to be businesses’ digital partner of choice, either small or micro, to large business.

Ralebitso said the logic that integrates rather than fragments and simplifies is the thing that is in the hearts of all of the solutions that Vodacom Business wants to bring to its customers.

He also explained that Vodacom Lesotho has a number of other capabilities in the agri-sector on how to address Lesotho’s food security outlook.

Vodacom One Connect comes in two packages. At the entry level is the One Connect Essential whose feature includes Voice Channels, teams’ breakout, mobile application, laptop/desktop application and Vodacom One Portal at the cost of M99 per month.
