Senior citizen wins big in ETL competition

Sasai Econet Financial Services, a subsidiary of Econet Telecom Lesotho, on Friday presented another brand-new Nissan NP200 car to ’Malineo Motsephe of Morija in Maseru, making her the second grand prize winner in the ongoing Ecocash Tobetsa Campaign.

The handover marked another important milestone in this campaign which is designed to celebrate the use of Ecocash, Lesotho’s premier mobile money solution.

The Ecocash Tobetsa campaign, which began in May 2024 and runs until September 2024, will reward three brand-new cars. The final car is set to be handed over at the end of this month.

In addition to the cars, weekly cash prizes ranging from M1,000 to M15,000 are given out, with the amounts doubled on the last Friday of each month.

“It is such an exciting day as we handover a brand-new vehicle to one of Lesotho’s senior citizens, Mrs. Motsephe. This shows that this innovative Ecocash Tobetsa campaign, does not only seek celebrate each and every customer’s loyalty, but also underscores our commitment to convenience,” Paulina Moreira of Sasai Econet Financial Services said.

Moreira encouraged their customers to actively take part in the Ecocash Tobetsa campaign, as the winners of the Nissan NP200 car and other fantastic prizes demonstrate that this initiative is a significant part of their commitment to empowering their valued customers throughout Lesotho.

An ecstatic Motsephe expressed disbelief and excitement. She said that there are benefits that one gets for simply associating with Lesotho’s best data network, Econet Telecom Lesotho and its sister company SEFS.
