Vodacom scoops top awards

Vodacom Lesotho has secured two prestigious accolades at the 15th annual Brand Africa’s Best Brands Awards, solidifying its position as a telecommunications leader.

The event was held recently at Maliba Lodge in Tsehlanyane, Leribe,

Vodacom Lesotho was celebrated as the Most Admired Brand Doing Good for Society and the Environment, and also the Most Admired Brand in Telecommunications. 

This significant recognition underscores the company’s profound commitment to national development and social responsibility.

Through the Vodacom Lesotho Foundation, the company actively contributes to the nation’s progress with initiatives such as STEM bursaries, school connectivity, and the dignity campaign providing sanitary towels. Their dedication extends to maternal health support via the m-mama programme, tree planting, and sustainable practices like solar power use and recycling. 

These efforts collectively uplift communities and protect the environment, demonstrating Vodacom Lesotho’s steadfast commitment to connecting and empowering the nation.
