The African Parliamentary Press Network (APPN) has appointed Lesotho national, Thoboloko Ntŝonyane, as its Southern Africa regional focal person, with effect from this month.
APPN is a continental network of journalists and information officers reporting from regional, sub-regional, and national parliaments across Africa.
The organisation’s regional focal persons work closely with its Secretariat and the Representative Council to embark on membership drive, network expansion, and regional coordination of activities within Eastern and Southern Africa. The latter comprise Angola, Botswana, Eswatini, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Lesotho.
