LNLVIP to mark International White Cane Day

The Lesotho National League of the Visually Impaired Persons (LNLVIP) will commemorate its 40th anniversary in conjunction with International White Cane Day on October 16, 2026. 

In a statement, LNLVIP executive director KeketsoMangope said the celebration is part of the organisation’sefforts to raise awareness on disability inclusion and marksignificant milestones in the movement. 

Mangope said the event will commence with a procession from Setsoto Stadium to Mohloli oa Bophelo Training and Rehabilitation Centre at Ha Tsosane.
